The periodic nature of stream-wise flow occurs in a cooling channel so frequently due to the multiple heat sources electronic equipment, demanding creation an effective technique improve heat-cooling convection. This work explores thermal convection enhancement heated-block duct for boundary conditions using element-by-element (EBE) treatment semi-implicit projection finite element method (FEM) through preconditioned conjugate gradient (PCG) solver. effects changing Reynolds numbers (100, 175, and 250) on rectangular cylinders installed under were studied time-mean Nusselt number enhancement, friction factor performance coefficient. results show that above upstream block promote modifying no cylinders. However, increasing increases enhancement. As result, case with cylinder every two blocks has best
